The Future Is Canada

As another nightmare semester wraps up, an opportunity to stretch my art skills has landed in my face. I became a founding member of the Canadian Future Party a few months ago, and during this snap federal election, I've fallen back on my MO of throwing random voluntary graphic design at my favourite communities.

I've had the pleasure of working with Andrea Chabot, the CFP candidate for Ottawa-Centre to design this diamond-shaped election sign, which has been adopted by a number of other CFP candidates as far as Calgary. The election signs, as well as posters and postcard flyers were my first introduction to Figma, an intriguing collaborative graphic design platform, which I think I'd be very happy to work with again in the future.
Calling gently on my animation experience, I also whipped up a Facebook Reels ad from Adobe Animate for Andrea's campaign as well. A significant part of Andrea's drive to run is her experience dealing with obsolete, convoluted systems in the public service, and her promise is to work to develop a modern, unified public digital infrastructure.
